We're in an Epidemic of Narcissism - Jordan Peterson and Michaéla Schippers (Follow the Science, English)
In Follow the Science prof. of behavior and performance management Michaéla Schippers and Rico Brouwer talk to scientists that ‘critically assess the current situation and propose a (better) way forward’. Sunday sept. 25th we were invited to dinner and a pre-show conversation with prof. Jordan B. Peterson who’s travelling the world, discussing his new book ‘beyond order’.
Before heading to the restaurant, Michaéla and Rico recorded an item about what’s called a death spiral (and how to snap out of it). As Michaéla described it; The death spiral is characterized by continuous flawed decision making where one bad decision leads to another, which can even lead to the collapse of an individual, group or society. That topic came up at dinner also and became the lead in to the interview Michaéla did with dr. Peterson backstage just before the show in the RAI venue in Amsterdam.
